Hey guys!
Every day is a new adventure when we’re walking with the LORD! On Thursday morning, B-Squad was given the news that, because of logistical issues and known conflict in one of the countries, we will no longer be traveling to Rwanda and Ethiopia this summer.
i’m very grateful that our squad’s safety was prioritized. i was reminded that the LORD is our dwelling place throughout ALL GENERATIONS (Psalm 90:1) – the location we’re going to matters a lot less! So, even though it was a little disheartening to hear that news, the King has been so, so immensely faithful. After hours of wrestling, talking to God and talking to people – our squad made individual choices that (wow – thank You, Jesus!!!) all ended up being the same. INDONESIA AND THAILAND!!
After talking with some of the girls on our trip, we realized that God has been putting Thailand (as well as Indonesia – but there’s been something special about His calling and leading to the “Land of Smiles”) on all of our hearts! How cool is He?!?The King of kings and Lord of lords is so wonderful. What an immense privilege to get to serve Him as we collectively become more willing and open-handed to wherever He is leading. i want to be able to say “YES” at the drop of a hat when plans change but the calling doesn’t. i want to follow You to the ends of wherever, Jesus!
GUYS. Thank you so much for following along! We’re 27 days out from being at Training Camp, 34 from our first country, and yet it’s already been such a wild ride. God has done so much in my heart the past 8 months since committing to a race this summer and it’s insane that HE WANTS TO DO MORE. THANK YOU, JESUS. What a blessing! What a privilege! Thanks for “holding the rope”, this journey is possible because of your decision to lean into, and trust, Christ. SO MUCH MORE TO COME 🙂
